About ALDI & Our Culture

A regional ALDI distribution center runs around the clock, and every shift needs a supervisor who can keep pick rates on target, keep the outbound dock loading on schedule, and keep the warehouse floor safe. Our Warehouse Shift Supervisors are the operational leaders who translate the day's shipping plan into an executed shift — coordinating selectors, forklift operators, and dock staff into a single coordinated flow that gets every store's order on the trailer on time. If you are searching for warehouse shift supervisor jobs near me in grocery distribution that offer genuine leadership scope, a strong salary, and a fast-growing regional network to advance in, ALDI's warehouse leadership track is one of the most direct paths into distribution management available today.

What Our Team Says (Employee Reviews)

"Running a shift at an ALDI distribution center means owning the whole outbound flow — I am checking selector pick rates against the shift plan, I am making sure the dock doors are loading on schedule, and I am the one who gets called if a trailer is projected to leave late. It is a lot of responsibility, but ALDI backs it with real decision-making authority and a salary that reflects it. I came from a competitor's warehouse and the pay increase alone made the move worth it." - Current Warehouse Shift Supervisor, Jeffersonville, IN.

Role Overview & Responsibilities

As an ALDI Warehouse Shift Supervisor, you lead a team of order selectors, equipment operators, and dock associates through a full distribution center shift — monitoring pick rate performance against the shipping plan, coordinating trailer loading sequences, and enforcing the safety standards that keep a high-volume warehouse floor incident-free.

• Shift Pick Rate Monitoring: Track real-time case-per-hour selection rates against the shift's shipping plan using the warehouse management system dashboard, identifying any selector or zone falling behind target and redeploying labor or adjusting pick assignments before the gap threatens an on-time trailer departure.
• Trailer Loading Coordination: Sequence outbound trailer loading against each store route's delivery schedule — confirming pallet staging accuracy at each dock door, verifying load counts against the manifest before seal, and communicating any projected late departure to the transportation team with enough lead time to adjust the route plan.
• Warehouse Safety Enforcement: Conduct rolling safety walks across the pick zones and dock area throughout the shift, correcting unsafe forklift operation, blocked emergency egress paths, or improper pallet stacking immediately, and documenting any near-miss or incident according to ALDI's safety reporting standard within the same shift.

Benefits & Perks

ALDI Warehouse Shift Supervisors receive a competitive salary reflecting the scope of shift leadership responsibility, along with paid time off, a 401(k) with company match, and full medical, dental, and vision benefits. This role sits on ALDI's direct advancement path into Warehouse Operations Manager and broader regional logistics leadership positions.
