About ALDI & Our Culture

Before an ALDI store ever opens its doors for the day, a Warehouse Associate has already built the pallet that keeps its shelves full. Working inside one of ALDI's regional distribution centers, our Warehouse Associates — known internally as Order Selectors — pick, stage, and load the exact product mix each store needs using voice-directed and RF scanning technology that keeps a massive daily volume moving without error. If you are searching for ALDI warehouse jobs near me that pay one of the strongest hourly wages in regional distribution work, with a physically active shift instead of a desk, ALDI's warehouse associate role is the most financially rewarding entry-level distribution job in our network.

What Our Team Says (Employee Reviews)

"I looked at warehouse jobs all over the region before I found ALDI, and nothing came close on pay. I select orders using a voice headset that tells me exactly what to pull and how many, I build the pallet to spec, and I move fast because the pace here is real. It is physical work and I am on my feet the whole shift, but the paycheck reflects that, and the full benefits kick in faster than anywhere else I applied." - Current Warehouse Associate, Loxley, AL.

Role Overview & Responsibilities

As an ALDI Warehouse Associate, you select and build store-bound pallets inside a high-volume regional distribution center — using voice-directed picking technology to pull the correct product and case quantity for each store order, then stacking and wrapping the completed pallet to ALDI's load stability standard before it moves to the outbound dock.

• Voice-Directed Order Selection: Pick cases from designated warehouse slots following voice-directed picking prompts — confirming each case's slot location and quantity against the system instruction before placing it on the pallet, and correcting any slot discrepancy immediately to prevent a short-shipped store order.
• Pallet Building & Load Stability: Build each store's pallet in the correct stacking sequence to protect product integrity during transit — placing heavier, sturdier cases at the base and lighter or fragile items on top — then shrink-wrap the completed pallet to ALDI's stability standard before staging it in the correct outbound door lane.
• Productivity & Accuracy Standards: Maintain the warehouse's case-per-hour selection rate while sustaining a near-zero picking error rate, using the RF scanner to verify every case against the order manifest and immediately flagging any product with a damaged case or an expiration date issue rather than letting it ship.

Benefits & Perks

ALDI Warehouse Associates earn one of the highest entry-level hourly wages in regional distribution work, with premium pay differentials for select shifts, plus paid time off, a 401(k) with company match, and medical, dental, and vision coverage. ALDI's warehouse operations also offer a defined advancement path into Warehouse Shift Supervisor and transportation roles for associates who build a strong selection accuracy and attendance record.
